Kanazawa cuisine uses the great water brought from Hakusan Mountain, product of Kaga vegetables grown in rich Kaga plains, and fresh seafood brought from the Sea of Japan. Dignified and wonderful Kanazawa cuisine enhances the original taste of these ingredients.

[Master Chef]

Our master chef, Enomoto who creates every dish of our restaurants was awarded the title of Japanese Food Meister. This title is for the person who has skillful talent at cooking Japanese food. He also received Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare prize, won a prize for excellent skilled person in Ishikawa, and is assigned to the chairman of Jpanese technical cooking association of Ishikawa in 2010. He will entertain you with a perfect dish that all carefully prepared by chefs using the bounty of Kanazawa’s sea and land.

[Rooms]

Kenkenochin has a variety of 12 private rooms, banquet halls, and a total of western style rooms of 30 seats and 40 seats in 70 seats. The picture shows a Horikotatu room. It is a Japanese style table seats where can be seated on tatami as a chair.

[Service]

Overlooking the special place of scenic beautiful Kenrokuen, you can enjoy the Japanese hearty service by Nakais who put on kimonos. It will ensure you have a pleasant moment.(This service is only for customers who order Kaiseki courses.)

[Kenrokuen- Garden]

Our restaurants of Kenkenochin and Kenjyotei are located near Kenrokuen that is a stroll- type landscape park and counted as one of the Three Most Beautiful Garden in Japan. Kenrokuen was founded as a typical feudal lord garden of Edo period and extended over generations by the feudal lords of Kaga han. It provides variety of beautiful views in all seasons.

[Kanazawa Castle]

Since Maeda Toshiie entered Kanazawa Castle in 1583, he started building the castle earnestly.
